How to make Puff Pastry | Christmas Special | 4 Ways.1THE PINWHEEL, 2.THE CHOCO BRAID, 3.THE FLOWER, 4.THE NUTELLA CHRISTMAS TREE.These are 4 quick and simple ways of making the most delicious Puff Pastry desserts you’ve ever tasted.

Here are the ingredients:

*CREAM CHEESE FILLING*
– 230g cream cheese
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

—— *THE PINWHEEL* ——
Ingredients:

– 1 sheet puff pastry
– Blueberries
– Cream cheese filling, | recipe above |
– Powdered sugar

Instructions:

– Preheat oven to 200°C.
– Cut the puff pastry into 9 equal squares
– Make 4 cuts on each square, with each cut starting from the outside corners of the square and stopping just short of the center
– Take one of the flaps and fold it toward the center. Fold every other flap toward the center until you have created a pinwheel shape
– Place about a tablespoon of the cream cheese filling in the middle, then place 5 blueberries on top
– Repeat with the remaining pastry squares
– Bake for 15–20 minutes until pastry is golden brown and puffed
– Serve with a sprinkle of powdered sugar
– Enjoy

—— *THE CHOCO BRAID* ——
Ingredients:

– 1 sheet puff pastry
– Chocolate chips
– Cream cheese filling, | recipe above |
– Powdered sugar

Instructions:

– Preheat oven to 200°C
– Cut the puff pastry into 2 equal rectangles
– Make 5 cuts on each side of the rectangle, with each cut made in angle going down, about a third of the length of the rectangle on each side, the middle third with no cut at all
– Place 2 tablespoon of the cream cheese filling in the middle third, then place a hand full of chocolate buttons on top
– Repeat with the remaining pastry rectangle
– Then fold each side towards the middle, starting with the first flap fold from right to left, then the left flap fold from left to right, crossing a bit in the center, and like so until the last flap of pastry
– Bake for 15–20 minutes until pastry is golden brown and puffed
– Serve with a sprinkle of powdered sugar
– Enjoy

—— *THE FLOWER* ——
Ingredients:

– 1 sheet puff pastry
– Raspberries
– Cream cheese filling, | recipe above |
– Powdered sugar

Instructions:

– Preheat oven to 200°C
– Cut the puff pastry into 4 equal squares
– Leaving a 1/2-centimeter border, make 8 total cuts along the edges of the square, with each cut going about 1/3 of the way through the length of the edge. Make sure the cuts do not touch
– Place a tablespoon of the cream cheese filling in the middle of the square, then top with 4 raspberries
– Take one of the edge flaps and fold it toward the center, looping over the raspberry. Repeat with the other flaps. Place a raspberry in the center, on top of where all the flaps overlap
– Repeat with the remaining pastry squares
– Bake for 15–20 minutes until pastry is golden brown and puffed
– Serve with a sprinkle of powdered sugar

—— *THE NUTELLA CHRISTMAS TREE* ——
Ingredients:

– 2 sheets puff pastry
– Nutella
– Egg wash
– Powdered sugar

Instructions:

– Preheat the oven to 200°C
– Take one rectangle of pastry and place it down with the short side facing you
– Spread a thick layer of Nutella over it in a rough triangle shape
– Place the second piece of pastry on top of the first, then cut out a triangle shape over the Nutella section. Discard the trimmings
– Now make even cuts down both sides of the triangle, leaving an inch uncut in the center, to keep the tree together
– Twist each strip from top to bottom to create tree branches
– Cut out 2 small circles and some Nutella on one of them. Place the other circle on top and cut out into a star shape. Spread some Nutella on the top of the tree and stick the star on
– Brush the pastry with the whisked egg. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until well risen and golden brown
– Once baked, serve up warm or dust with icing sugar and serve cold
– Enjoy
