Using cheap cottage grade wood you can find at the local building supply store, you can create a barn faux finish looking ceiling using the really cheap wood. Our wood was $8.99 / 14 Square Feet. Staining and Verathane was only $45. For under $200 bucks, you can create an aged looking barn faux finish ceiling that looks really sharp. This is great for contemporary decor design and revovations for your home. We used a Nailing Gun to install using silver nails that are so well hidden with our staining colour. We faux finished the 75 boards first, then installed and enjoyed. There is no second coat of gloss or staining required after installation.
